1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are widely used to make sites work correctly and to provide information to the site owner about how the site is being used.
Cookies do not contain executable code and cannot access other files on your device. They are simply a way for a website to remember things — like whether you have accepted a notice, or which pages you have visited.
2. Cookies we use
Essential cookies
Always active
These are required for the website to work. They include your cookie consent preference stored in your browser. You cannot disable these.
Duration: session and up to 12 months
Analytics cookies
Optional
Help us understand how visitors use our site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. We use this to improve the site. Data is anonymised where possible.
Example service: Google Analytics
Duration: up to 24 months
Marketing cookies
Optional
Used to track visits across websites for the purpose of delivering more relevant advertising. We do not currently operate paid advertising campaigns, but these cookies may be set by embedded third-party content.
Duration: up to 12 months
Preference cookies
Optional
Remember settings you have chosen, such as language or display preferences, so you do not have to set them again on your next visit.
Duration: up to 12 months

3. Third-party cookies

These include Google Maps (used to display our workshop location) and, if analytics are enabled, Google Analytics. We do not control the cookies set by these third parties. Their respective privacy and cookie policies govern how they use that data.
4. Cookie duration
- Session cookies — exist only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it.
