How we work through each service
Every service at Nathira begins the same way: we look at the watch with you, share what we observe, and discuss what the appropriate course of action might be. We do not issue a ticket and disappear into the back room.
If we have questions during the work, we contact you before continuing. If the job turns out to be simpler than expected, we say so — and the cost reflects that. Our goal is to return the watch to you in a condition you are happy with, without having done anything you did not ask for.
Assessment
We examine the watch and take photographs before agreeing on scope.
Agreement
We confirm scope and price with you. Work begins only after your agreement.
Work
The service is completed at a considered pace, with contact if anything changes.
Collection
We walk through the completed work with you before you leave.
Service 01
Dial Refinishing
Gentle refinishing or sympathetic restoration of worn dials, always aiming to respect the original look of the watch. We talk through the options with you and only proceed once you feel comfortable.
- Colour, texture, and finish matched to original where possible
- Patina assessment — we discuss whether to preserve or address
- Printed indices and chapter rings re-applied with precision
- Lume plots examined and treated appropriately

Service 02
Strap Fitting & Sourcing
Help finding and fitting straps and bracelets that suit both the watch and your wrist. A relaxed service for anyone who would like a fresh, comfortable fit without the uncertainty of buying online.
- Lug width measured before any suggestion is made
- Leather, rubber, nylon, and steel bracelet options discussed
- Sourcing for non-standard or unusual lug widths
- Professional fitting with correct spring bar tools
- Sizing adjusted to wrist before you leave
Service 03
Appraisal & Documentation
A written assessment of condition and character for insurance or personal records, prepared with care and clarity. Useful when you would simply like a calm, honest account of what you own.

Intake photography
Every watch is photographed under consistent lighting before any work begins.
Secure storage
Watches in our care are stored in a locked, labelled cabinet when not being worked on.
Gloved handling
Finished case surfaces are handled with lint-free gloves at all times.
No-surprises billing
If scope changes, we call you before proceeding. The original price holds unless you agree otherwise.
Purpose-specific tools
We use watchmaker's instruments of the correct scale — no improvisation that risks marking cases or damaging dials.
Workshop cover
Items left with us are covered while in our care. We can provide details on request.
